All BP Farms products are raised on our farm using sustainable, environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Our products are all antibiotic, hormone/steroid, medication, pesticide, herbicide and GMO (genetically modified products) free. All of our livestock are humanely raised on pasture. Our products and feeds are also all gluten-free.
Our beef is 100% grass fed and grass finished meaning our cattle eat grass and forbs on pasture or as hay when pasture isn’t available. They never get any grain or soy. Grass fed beef is more flavorful and nutritious than grain fed beef while maintaining a high standard of tenderness, juiciness and quality.
Our pork comes from Red Wattle pigs that forage on green pastures. Their forage is supplemented with Certified Organic Feed (Non-GMO). All seasonings and cures are also certified organic meaning they have no artificial preservatives or nitrates. Seasonings and cures are also soy, gluten, filler and GMO free.
Our free range meat chickens are lively heritage type birds. They range and forage freely on green pastures without any cages, pens or chicken tractors. Our farming practices ensure the tastiest and healthiest chicken. Their forage is supplemented with Certified Organic Feed. Chickens range in size from 3 to 6 pounds.
Our eggs come from hens that range freely on green pastures. Our hens are allowed to forage outdoors all day without and cages, pens or other type of confinement. Their forage is supplemented with Certified Organic Feed.
We take beef to the butcher year-round. Availability for beef is a matter of getting on the list early. We generally run three to four months out. We currently run two batches of pork a year. One batch ready for pickup in late spring/summer and one batch ready for pickup in late fall. We always try to have chicken, various cuts of beef and pork and eggs in stock.
